James Kent is a graphic design graduate who has worked for many years as a freelance illustrator, taking on many, various exciting projects such as producing illustrations for the Top Gear Live event programme two years running.

James has also painted his designs for the Wild In Art sculptures which went on display around the country, including one of the Magna Carta Barons in Salisbury for the Trussell Trust in 2015.

Working at Timber Treasures has given James the opportunity to put his illustration skills to use, using the pyrography machine to burn freehand pictures into the wood. This is how the Constable pieces were produced.

The Stars Appeal aims to raise £1million each year to help thousands of local people by enhancing services at Salisbury District Hospital. From poorly babies and sick children to people at the end of their life, people with cancer and heart disease, those recovering from stroke, spinal injuries or after a major accident and older people and those with dementia, Stars Appeal projects help patients get better quicker, go home sooner and make time in Hospital easier for them, and their families. The Stars Appeal does this by funding a range of projects, from additional state-of-the-art medical equipment and new buildings,  to ongoing services such as Hospital Chaplaincy, free patient Wi-Fi, Artcare, accommodation for the parents of poorly children and babies and for the loved ones of patients who are critically ill.
