Collection: Fairy Treasures

A small corner of the range for fairy gardens. A carved wooden fairy door, arched and pointed at the top with a recessed panel and a single round knob, sized to prop at the foot of a tree or against a skirting board. And a dark-stained wood disc painted with a winged fairy standing on a red-and-white spotted toadstool, flowers scattered round the base.

Both are carved and painted by hand in Indonesia, so no two come out quite the same. The fly agaric toadstools in the mushroom collection make natural companions if you are building a scene.

Build Your Own Fairy Garden

Fairy gardens are one of those projects that start small — a single fairy door at the base of a tree — and quietly take over a corner of the garden. Our Fairy Treasures range gives you the pieces to build a whole miniature world: doors, windows, stepping stones, houses in kit form and the little finishing touches that make a fairy feel at home.

Many of the pieces are made from birch, a pale, dense-grained white wood that takes colour beautifully — so children (and adults) can colour them in with felt pens before fixing them in place. It is as much a craft activity as a decoration.

Don't forget the multi-buy discounts on the fairy collection shown above. For more woodland magic, take a look at our wooden mushroom ornaments and toadstools.
