Each pencil is a twig with a piece of lead inserted between 5 and 10 cms down its centre - the actual length depends on how bendy the twig is. The twigs are made of Albizia wood from the Rain Tree, which has heavily serrated bark so holding the pencil is a comfortable and interesting experience.
Each pencil has an area sanded flat at the bottom where a name can be written. The price paid includes the pyrographing (burning letters into the wood) of a name of 10 letters or less into each pencil purchased. Please remember to email us requesting the accurate spellings of the names to be burnt on the pencils when completing the order.
