A cat curled into a comma at the centre of the seat, carved into solid Raintree and painted grey and white, ringed by scrolling stems and purple and green leaves. Made in northern Thailand, where this style of relief carving and hand-painting has been a workshop trade for generations.
Solid and low to the ground. The wax-finished grain shows warm around the carved design. Works as a side table or plant stand as readily as a seat.
Each one is carved and painted by hand, so no two come out quite the same.
