A robin carved and painted with close attention to feather and colour: the red breast shades through orange to yellow at the belly, the wings are brown with fine line detail, the legs are wire-wrapped in orange. It stands on a rough-cut piece of natural wood, wire feet gripping the surface. Made in Bali, where relief carving and painted bird figures are a long-established workshop craft. Sits well on a desk, shelf or windowsill.
Each bird is painted by hand; colour depth and feather detail vary between pieces.
