Hand-Carved Wooden Elephants
The elephant is one of the most loved motifs in carved wood — a symbol of luck, memory, wisdom and family — which makes these pieces an easy gift for almost anyone. Our range runs from a mini elephant that fits in a pocket up to a substantial extra-large, each carved from a single block of Raintree wood, plus wall mounts, a clever elephant phone stand and hand-painted perpetual calendars.
The carved figurines are made by hand in northern Thailand, where the warm, close grain of Raintree wood is worked and finished individually, so no two elephants share quite the same expression. The painted calendars are made by artisan workshops in Indonesia.
