A solid Raintree elephant, hand-carved and finished with dark-stained detail that picks out the ears, wrinkles and trunk. The grain shifts from warm amber to deep brown across each piece. Made in a family workshop in northern Thailand, where elephant carving has been a village trade for generations. Solid in the hand for its size. Sits well on a shelf, windowsill or desk.
Each one is carved by hand, so grain, tone and finish vary from piece to piece.
