Collection: Christian Gifts

Wall crosses carved and painted by hand. One cut from mango wood in India with an open lattice of leaves and scrolling stems. One with a bare tree carved in relief across the full face, branches spreading into the arms, finished in whitewash. One painted on black with white stems and a large pink flower at the centre. One cut from a single piece with two open hearts locked together.

The nativities range from a carved three-figure set of Joseph, Mary and the Christ child to two pieces from Peru: a hinged retablo painted with folk flowers on the outside that opens to the scene within, and a cedar triptych with chisel-textured doors and a metal clasp.

There are also two keepsake boxes, one carved from mango wood with a Celtic cross set into the lid, and a hexagonal box hand-painted in amber and cobalt with a white cross on the top.
