Collection: Coastal & Seaside

Sea creatures carved in wood, most of them in Bali. Whales and a fish worked as flat plaques in a tribal relief style, the cut lines running like waves across the surface. A dolphin arching up off a carved wave base. A shark lying flat with its fins spread and jaw open. A sea turtle with all four flippers extended and the shell cut in a faceted hexagonal pattern.

Two pieces bring in found materials: a seagull with a white body and grey wings perched on a driftwood bar and hung from a jute cord strung with pebbles, and a round-bodied fish painted in crackled bands of slate, orange and olive, balanced on a stacked column of driftwood.

Prices start at £5.50 for the small carvings. Everything is carved and finished by hand, so grain and detail vary between pieces.
