Two ducks carved from bamboo root, beak to beak, joined at the chest. The grain runs warm and open across both bodies, left in a natural unvarnished finish that shows the texture of the root. Made in Indonesia, where this style of bamboo root carving has long been a village trade. They sit well on a windowsill or shelf, a pair that holds its own without needing much space around it.
Each pair is carved by hand, so no two are identical in posture or grain.
