A duck at rest, head up, carved from Albizia in a compact, rounded form. The pale wood shows its grain clearly across the body, and the tool marks are smoothed but not erased. Made in Indonesia, where this style of small animal carving has been workshop practice for generations. Sits well on a shelf or mantelpiece, alone or alongside other pieces.
