A circular relief carving of a tree of life: trunk rising from scrolled roots, branches spreading to fill the disc, each one ending in a broad heart-shaped leaf. The wood is a warm reddish-brown, the grain visible across every leaf face. Cut through in places so the branches read against the wall behind. Made in Bali, where this style of openwork relief carving has been a village trade for generations. Hangs flat against a wall.
