A carved wooden cat curled into a low oval, painted red and scattered with hand-painted flowers in pink, blue, yellow and orange. The date blocks sit in a hollow in the cat's back: two yellow cubes and a month bar, rotated by hand each day. Made in Indonesia. Low to the surface and compact, it fits easily on a desk or beside a lamp.
Each one is carved and painted by hand, so the flower detail varies between pieces.
