A dragon coiled into the seat in deep relief, painted bright green with scaled body and toothed wings, a curl of orange flame licking around it. Made in northern Thailand, where relief carving of this kind has been a workshop trade for generations.
Solid and low to the ground. The dark-toned Raintree grain shows through around the carving. Works as a side table or plant stand as readily as a seat.
Each one is carved and painted by hand, so no two come out quite the same.
