Collection: Wooden Wall Art

Wood for the walls, most of it carved or painted by hand in Bali. Tree of Life plaques cut with curling branches and autumn leaves. Green Man faces worked into round discs and into raw bark-edged trunk sections. Whales and fish in tribal relief, mushrooms and toadstools in bright folk colours, a Celtic triskelion, a chakra mandala, a moon-gazing hare.

A run of hanging plaques on twine carries lettering rather than imagery: Wild and Free, Calm Zone, Chase Adventure, Goddess Within. Alongside them sit two miniature paintings on dried peepal leaves from India, an elephant head wall mount from northern Thailand with the trunk raised as a hook, and a carved cross of interlocking hearts.

Sizes run from a 13cm triskelion disc up to a 40cm plaque, and prices from under £4 to around £30. Every piece is finished by hand, so grain, colour and detail vary from one to the next.
