A larger version of the abstract angel: carved from Raintree wood into an elongated figure where broad wings and a robed body are read through smooth, unbroken planes. Sanded and stained by hand, the grain comes through clearly in the finish. Made in Bali, where this form of abstract figurative carving is a well-established workshop tradition.
Substantial enough to anchor a mantelpiece or side table. The extra height gives the wing span more presence.
Each piece is carved and stained individually, so grain pattern and tone vary.
